My research into Tesla indicates the price is over weight and the story is overrated, given it's valuation there does not appear to be assets available to back up that high of a valuation.

The founder and product are excellent.. I'm sad I did not get on that train but the stock is out of control IMO and yesterday's insane ~20% run up has to be a short squeeze. 1.5X the valuation of GM and F combined and they only own one factory and rent another. I would be taking profits here.

IDK much about investing but I had been mulling-over Tesla about a yesr ago bc I think Elon Musk is a genius and felt he would make Tesla work where it'd be a valuable-stock - but until recently the stock/company seemed a bit too erratic for my conservative- style and I didn't pull-the-trigger - I'm still iffy about Tesla after they came out with that ugly-ass odd-looking pickup - and their new Model-Y small crossover doesn't look that exciting to me (per web pics)

I'm also concerned that every major automaker will soon start ramping up EC production and cut into Tesla's niche although a Tesla may continue to be a Tesla and still be a desirable niche bc it's a Tesla

Which number will win on the roulette wheel?

As far as stocks, mostly their prices are set by the professionals who manage the pension, insurance, and hedge funds. Think you know something they don't?

@desertscrub I think you are a bit out of the loop. It's not simply a "tech" company. It's an auto company that specializes in tech. Its biggest pull is electric power. Your assessment would be better for something like Uber, AirBnB or GetAround.

It can absolutely be judged by its looks and other car components because it SELLS CARS that have general technology.

No information which any of you could have has any predictive power. It is just a rationalization for the current pricing.

So any stock could be a good investment at the right price. But what is that right price?

The managers of the Pension, Insurance, and Hedge funds determine the current price because their moves are so large.

Want to be that you know more than they? You don't. You are just doing casino gambling and then counting on the government to keep the bubble going!

Grown men should have better things to concern themselves with.

But the fund managers who set the price by their own big moves, THEY ALREADY KNOW THAT!

If the fund managers didn’t invest those funds the way they do, then where would those people go to get a return in their money?? Not in your organization because there would be a bankruptcy. Chapter 11!! Lmfao

But the fund managers do more research and more extensive computer analyses. You are just playing on their turf, hoping you can pick up some crumbs while they made money OFF OF YOU!

Which ever guy you will make the most dollars from?

Why don't you put your money into your own ventures. High stock market is not a sign of economic health, it is a sign of economic fatalism, people don't know what to do with their money.
