The hashtag #PresidentPelosi was trending Wednesday as Ambassador Gordon Sondland testified to the House Intelligence Committee in the impeachment hearings on President Donald Trump’s Ukrainian schemes for assistance in the 2020 election and implicated Vice President Mike Pence in the effort.
If Trump and Pence are both removed from office over their involvement in the plot, the next in line for the presidency is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
[No uncertainty here, definitely a political post ☺☺]

last commentSondland is an idiotic, corrupt, rich guy, just like Trump. He donated $1M to the Trump campaign and got a cushy ambassadorship in return. He's the ambassador to the EU -- not Ukraine.
Public opinion has hardly moved since the hearings started and the Senate is not going to remove Trump. The evidence is there for people who want to listen and it might move a small number of independent voters. The hearings are also there as a part of history for our kids to study; our kids will wonder how about a third of the country lived in their own separate reality.
I do not like Pence. Maybe he can be impeached too. Maybe like Spiro Agnew, he can be pressed to resign.
But if they have to pick someone, it will have to be a Republican. I suggest Nikki Haley. If we can't make her President, then at least make her Secretary of State. Very impressive how she has handled stuff.
1. Confederate Flag
2. Denouncing Trump before Southern Super Tuesday, first prominent Republican to do so.
3. Masterful handling of the Syrian gas attack and responding with cruise missiles, "more than just words." Virtually no criticism of this either.
If Pelosi were to become President, I think she would be just fine. And it would only be till after the 2020 election.
