I recently got interested in 3D rendering of pornographic art, and discovered that it can be quite stimulating. Not only can the models have totally unattainable physical attributes (like ginormous breasts with a 24" waist and fitness level abs), but they can also be made quite flawless. And, if enough work is put into the animation, the models can be made to appear quite lifelike and realistic, and expressive. While it's currently quite a lengthy process to make a realistic and lifelike animation, I suspect that the technology will continue to advance until the models look almost indistinguishable from real humans (I mean, besides the unattainable physical proportions), the animations and motions look very real, and the animations are generated in less time and with less human effort.
Which makes me wonder, is computer generated material the future of the porn industry? Do you think there will come a time when computer graphics look so realistic and convincing, that it becomes faster and cheaper to render a porno movie using nothing but computers and the creativity of artists? Do you think the demand for CGI porn will eventually become on par with the demand for video recordings of real actors and actresses? Humans have limitations where their computer-generated counterparts do not, so if the desire for niche interests and fetishes can be satisfied to a greater degree using CGI.... might that be the future?
