The same symbols by the discussion titles act only on that discussion. For instance, you can opt not to see those long annoying bumped posts that show up every week.
Is it possible to add a descriptor that pops up when you hover your pointer over a particular symbols. If not, then a guide to what the symbols mean would be OK.
