You probably heard about this incident. It happened about 35-40 minutes from where I live so it hits close to home. I find it amazing how coos read body language and act like they are your friend until they have enough evidence to bust your dumb ass. I know a lot of oil guys at low levels like this. They mostly seem like arrogant dimwits with low skills that are overpaid.
This guy got life and they movex him out of Colorado for his protection. I bet he will get his ass handed to him in prison, or taken by Bubba
