Lap Dancing started at MBOT, and it meant lap sitting. How much else went along with this varied widely.

I have never posted anything to contradict Countryman's above statement, and I am not aware of anyone else who has, about US clubs, either. Most of the time when sex workers talk what they say what they want most is to be able to select who they do or don't engage with, and not have to justify it to anyone. Now with LaVey it was just to provoke people's imaginations. With Crowley's Gnostic Mass, not clear that it was intended to lead to real sex. The most important of our f2f rituals always amount to sex. Otherwise no reason to take the time and trouble to journey to the temple. Everything else can be done online.
So some will be ritualized, but most will be completely informal. And never any cost to it. If you don't pick one of the women quickly, then it won't matter because they'll pick you.
