Calling all you Motown PL's. Will be in town for the wknd. Advice on a few clubs to check out. What's the must see list.
Criteria: Mixed clubs. Urban. Dives too.
I know Fight Club is on the list but what else that meets the criteria in and around town? Much appreciated.
Landing Strip in Romulus by the airport. Bogart's--on the other side of Michigan Ave a little west of Flight Club Henry VIII north on Middlebelt Rd about 1/2 from Flight Club Criket--on Michigan Ave a few miles east of Flight Club BT's--on Michigan Ave--6 or 7 miles east of Flight Club

Jackslash has you covered. If you are looking for pure urban, you may want to check out Pantheon, which is in the area. Haven’t been there myself, but it is often reviewed.
To add on for clarification, Bogarts and HVIII are low-end, dive-ish. Criket and BT’s a step up.
Legends? That’s the only other one I’d hit but was not mentioned previously

Also, I know I can look it up in the reviews, but he U can get it from the horses mouth why not. What's the going rates for dances and such? Prefer to be in the know going in.

Flight Club, Bogarts, Silver Criket and HVIII are all within like at most 5 minutes away from each other, and Landing Strip is like only 10-15 minutes away from that group. So those are safe bets if you want to club hop without too much travel.
As for costs, most places will have a $7 or $8 valet, 9ish dollar drinks, 20 to 30 per dance (most detroit clubs do per dance in the VIP, rather than do blocks of time), and if you're a man who partakes in the finer things in life that a Detroit club has to offer, you should expect your wallet to feel 200 to 300 bucks lighter at the end. More than that and you're negotiating probably needs work or you're dealing with someone who has GPS.
Players. I have always been able to get extras and VIP rooms are still private. Have a great visit.
Actually of that group I think only Flight Club and Landing Strip have valet. Both also have a hefty cover charge, $10-20, and another $20 if you want to sit at a booth on a busy weekend night. Those two and BT's are the high end, with Flight Club at the top, Criket a step down, Bogart's a step or two down from that, and H8 the bottom.
What JS said. Outside of Legends or Colisium, I would avoid clubs in the City of Detroit right now, especially if you are looking for more than lap dances.
so what is the situation with detroit right now? is penthouse coming back anytime soon? (im assuming theyre still out since it hasnt been recommended so far)
Flight Club is essentially Penthouse Jr. now. Its owned by the same people I believe and many of the Penthouse dancers, managers, etc...are working at FC in the meantime.
It's really breathed new life into FC to be honest.
^^^ The last time I checked Penthouse’s Facebook page, it said their grand re-opening is May 11, a week later than originally planned.
Jack’s list is perfect and they’re all close together. I hit sliver cricket and flight club last night. Great time you won’t be disappointed
I've been to Landing Strip (back in 2011) and it was a great time.
If/when I go back...I heard good things about Henry VIII and Subi's...wouldn't mind giving them a try.
By the way, it's the Criket now. No "silver" and no "c". I can only assume they are trying to save money on signage. Those neon tubes are pricey.
Follow-up: Had a great trip. Went to Pantheon and was blown away by the overall level of the club. Valet, security, staff, waitresses and dancers were all top grade. Food was pretty good also, and I'm not a SC food guy. Looked in at 2 other clubs over 8 Mile IDR the names, but never made the airport area clubs. Pantheon was jumping so ended up staying there. Thanks all for the input. HMU if you ever need reciprocity for FL or NJ. I'm going to do a review when I get a chance.
