I Want Half Eddie !

Anywhere there are Titties.
When Eddie Murphy was the hottest comedian, he did a stand up routine that they made into a movie. Eddie Murphy RAW. It was mostly just Eddie standing on stage cursing. But there was a segment on it that is classic. Every male thinking about getting married needs to watch that segment. Here it is :

Now I"m already married, so I'm completely out of luck. If my wife doesn't like my mongering, then she gets HALF ! Is that fair ?

The best time to have the divorce talk is when you get engaged. That was a concern of mine growing up Gen X with families and homes being torn apart from divorce & layoffs. She's not getting half without being a contributing partner (either financially) or without contributing to the development of my career and education. She's entitled to half but she doesn't want half. She'd just want to be helped setting up and getting re-started on her own, and she'd work and support herself on her meager earnings and wouldn't want mine. She's awesome.

Though if I had a successful career and she was was an equal partner, I would of course give her half She would have earned it and deserved it. Right now my net worth is well under $1,000 so this is all academic.

I disagree with no-fault divorce for a lot of reasons spouses get divorced. Between you @warrior15, me, and my better half, mongering, infidelity, cheating, or whatever you call it isn't a valid reason to get divorced, much less take half. Whatever became of upholding marriage vows? That's a fucking stupid reason to get a divorce. That's a fucking stupid reason to involve the government (courts or police) over. That's a fucking stupid reason to involve lawyers. Whatever happened these days to couples working it out on their own? Know how many times we've involved judges, police, or lawyers in our marriage? Zero times. Know how many times I plan to or will in the future? Zero times aka NEVER. Respect your vows, the same vows I took.

That was a funny skit by Eddie Murphy for sure.
