Alternatives to HiLiter in Phoenix
With the latest “raid”, HL has taken a step backwards. It has gone from the obvious top club to just being in the mix. What alternatives would you recommend?
Bourbon Street Circus: possibly the best looking dancers in town but difficult to get their attention ( poor dancer to customer ratio). Dances are $20 for what is usually a tame dance.
Bandaids: chunky black and Latina dancers with good $10 dances and even better $20 dances. For me, the DL swipe at the door takes them off my list.
Chicas: similar to Bandaids but with extremely limited parking and a sketchy night crowd.
Christie’s Tempe: good looking dancers, reports of good $10 dances, nice looking club, with free lunch with a cover. No 2/1 drinks.
Sugar 44: friendly local bar. Cheers with tits. If you like drinking with dancers and shooting the shit with them, this is your club.
Any other suggestions for a go-to club ?

Naturally SJG has an opinion about a city that he’s never been to.
When I’m in Phoenix and i ned an alternative to Hi liter I usually go to Christie’s in Tempe. No xtras but full contact dances with pretty hot dancers.
Personally I'd save my $$$ and maybe take some SC trps, but:
I can personally use saving up some $$$
I like taking SC trips and exploring new clubs/scenes
Candy Store is another club like "Cheers with tits", and you can find a decent looking girl who may be all tied up with regulars. Like all dancers who maintain longevity, they have a list of PLs they service, and it may take several visits before you get put on "preferred" status.
For me, the answer is AMPs. Totally different experience, but often the same result.
I was asking about Xexutive Showcase, not claiming that I actually knew.
About AZ AMPs, I have done some Rubmaps searching. Did not look very good.

I forgot to mention Blue Moon. My last 3 visits, they didn’t have a single dancer I’d touch with a 10 foot pole. However, if anyone finds a dancer they like, it’s a unique level of 3 dances for $46.

The HL environment is so unique, I suspect that any HL dancer would see their income cut in half at any other club. A lot of them may just get out of the SC game.
I go to Christie’s if not HiLiter. No extras, but I always seem to get an OTC offer. Haven’t ever indulged there.
There might be more OTC opportunities at Hi-Liter now so don't discount that aspect.
If OTC is not your cup of tea, mark listed good alternatives. On the west side Jaguars and Essex have more of a party vibe and maybe don't fit most mongers idea of a strip club visit (dancers mainly black with some latinas and PAWG). Eve's Tease has some diamond in the rough dancers. I've seen a couple of pretty hot chicks from there.
There are a few AMP's where you can get what you need, but it's not the SC experience. You might get off but you are in and out in under an hour. If you are just in need of busting a nut, great, but if you want some time to talk and get to know someone, this isn't for you. I've done them a few times and I prefer SC's.
RH is right about more HL girls willing to do OTC, or to increase their mileage/$$$ for OTC.
I’m going to date myself here, but Phoenix used to have a decent crop of “jack shacks” where you could get naked in a private room with some really hot chicks and get your rocks off. Remember those big ads in The Bachelor Beat newspaper? Compared to the mileage we’ve known in the last few years in SCs, these places were mostly a ripoff, but they did have some amazingly hot girls. These places disappeared rather suddenly, but I remember some good sessions!
I used to find reasons to go to Tucson back when Candy Store was unlimited mileage and all the Phoenix clubs were low mileage. Maybe it’s time for a short road trip to Venoms.
I haven't been to Venom, but it is definitely UHM in the cabanas. I read similar stories about Raiders Reef, but haven't spent any time sat either club. The only Tucson club I visit with any regularity is Curves,better looking girls IMHO. Mileage is generally lower although I've had some decent fun n their VIP room.
Tuscon Venom is a place people have posted about and that I had taken note of.

I’m horrible with names so I don’t remember Bama or Maya by name. I prefer slender, fit women. It’s been at least 2 years since I saw one of those on the day shift at BM. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
The Candy Store can be hit or miss, but there is occasional mileage in the VIP. A shame we lost both HL and Centerfolds. Always need a backup

I haven't been to Essex, Eve's is a no-alcohol, divey kind of club. Not even sure it's open days.
The strange thing here is that I have been to HL and haven't noticed some huge change. It seems like situation normal there.
I'm all for discussing alternatives (Christie's is always a worthy visit, IMO) but HL isn't dead.
I think the term dead refers to 2 of the high profile VIP high mileage providers Amanda/Stephanie/Miley and Shelby being let go from the HL.
Another raid yesterday (Tuesday 12/5). No arrests, no tickets (to my knowledge), but there is no doubt there is a campaign of harassment by the Phoenix PD aimed at HL right now. In this case, dude basically was standing by the cooking area of the bar, was really giving off a negative vibe, and, sure enough, started bothering dancers. I'm surprised the dancers can even use the mirrrors in the dressing room, there's so many warning notices in there now.

I never said HL is dead. I said it has taken a step backward, which it clearly has. The vibe has changed. There is less fun and sense of abandon and more caution.
Regulars can still have some fun because their faves trust them. But, the clipboard guys walking the floor, the warnings given to dancers, and the fear of “raids” have changed the nature of the club. It’s no longer the carefree party atmosphere it once was.
I like no-alcohol, I like dives, and I like shitholes too. In my coming travels plan first to be visiting black dives and shit holes, and during the day shift.
Eve's, Essex, or whatever has become of Xecutive Showcase, could be my first place.

@jebutch: If you haven't noticed dancers are not allowed to do floor work anymore, then I'd seriously question your powers of observation. Even dancers who've known me for years are a lot more circumspect on the floor with the regular dances. HL lost a couple more high quality dancers yesterday. You keep sluicing off the cream of the club, and pretty soon, all you have left is just average.
There are new dancers coming in (like always), and some are pretty darn hot. But when you replace a diamond with a ruby, it's still a downgrade.
@SJG: I don't know who talks more about pretending to go to strip clubs--you or Juice. It's a close battle for biggest poser on the board.

So 79terrier has said that Eve's has no alcohol. Could it be that it is a membership club, even if they don't tell you so? If a membership club then it can only be BYOB or no alcohol. Membership clubs can be the very best!
So VLive is just south of the airport, very close.
Eve's is about 4 miles North West.
Essex seems to be just a bit further to the West.
All three in industrial areas.
So until I get further info, just based on what I see online, my order of visiting would be:
Eve's, no alcohol gives better dancers and less ways for LE to act, nude is better, people claim it to be a dive.
VLive, BLACK! Laws and rules are meaningless.

The City of Phoenix anti-trafficking goal sounds all warm and fuzzy, but if it's working, how is it that there are probably 50 AMPs spread across the valley, and most of them run BP ads that say something like "new girls, just arrived"? Instead Phoenix PD is hassling one specific strip club that's had its VIP action level too publicized on the internet. I don't buy the current LE attention as having anything to do with anti-trafficking efforts. The CF liquor situation seems much more likely as a motivator for Phx PD.
I wish people were looking at alternatives to HL yesterday. Got to the club @ 4:30, which is not when I ever visit but was on my back to civilization from a site visit in west fucking Peoria and the parking lot and club were packed to the gills. No tables immediately available inside. Late in the afternoon seems like there were a shit ton of groups there: 3,4 or 5 guys probably getting off work and blowing off some steam. Lots of dancers I hadn't seen before and even VIP was packed.
