Why is it that it's the exact same five guys that make it to the final table of World Series every year? What are these just the luckiest guys in all of Vegas?
I'd like to play poker for money but South Carolina has laws on the books against playing any game involving chance in South Carolina and have a history of arresting people using money even if it's just a card game at someone's house. Some guys got arrested already. I'm not ready to risk arrest and prosecution. I'd rather just write and email representatives asking them to change our stupid laws.
And the reason I'm about to turn pro in poker is I've hit 1million hands played and after countless hours playing and thousands spent on coaching and AI software I pretty much understand how to win
Plus I know have a bank roll large enough to get me in a game large enough that makes it worth the time away from a real job
Right now I'm very possibly working out my last six months or so before going full time into poker at my home casino in Cherokee playing the highest stakes at $2/$5 with at least a $500 buy in
Then the add the fact that I live a true minimalist life and bingo it's extremely possible to pull off
I'm honesty excited and nervous about this new chapter in my life
I spent the first half...yes 500,000 hands roughly as a losing player then the last half as a winning one
This is also against various levels of opposition ranging from novice to expert humans and artificial intelligence.
It took me 2 and a half years to accomplish this in my time off playing online.
Funny thing is playing live as a professional and doing so with a 50 hour work week...it will take me a little over 10 year's live to accomplish a million hands played lol
I currently as I type this average close to 90,000 hands played every month online
Nah, I can't make it to Vegas that time of year anymore. Good luck though Juice.
I did the Vegas WSOP satellites for a few years; you need to be able to have an excellent 1 table game and size up 9 strangers real quick. I did the $200+vig 10 seat games. I had the game back then; but still never put down the $10,000 for the main event.
I do recall a fun night at Cheetahs after winning two satellites one day; I took in 4 $250 tourney chips to show off ... of course, one of my friends in the back was able to cash a couple at $230 each, and one thing led to another.
Very tough life though, especially tournaments. Glad I passed as knew several good players who did well initially then burned out.

I believe I can do it because I'm extremely good at sit n go Play
Currently have a 20% ROI in my database showing this in a sample size of 10,000 SNG
