Ok guys who like OTC. Do you prefer a straight to the hotel or house and straight to business or do you do dinner drinks and the like to enhance the gfe? I have done both, but I have found that if not doing the gfe, then banging an escort is more economical and less frustrating. I myself much prefer strippers for a gfe as they just seem better at it. What do you guys say?

I understand that guys enjoy a well handled gfe encounter, but since it’s basically an act - I will skip that part.
I find strippers best for otc. I’ve tried others (whores, cl girls, etc) and strippers work best for me.
With my current OTC girl, sleepovers haven't happened (yet), so our 6-hour afternoon dates from about 1 to 7 consist of playtime #1 (I always manage to get early check-in at noon or so), a mid-afternoon feast, and playtime #2.
I honestly want my OTC experience to be as much like a date and as little like P4P as possible.

I wince a bit at "gfe". I'm not looking to pretend a stripper is my girlfriend. I'm not looking to have a 22 year old girlfriend with poor judgement, poor education, and who can't control her impulses. I also am not looking to get shitfaced with my girlfriend, go strip clubbing with my girlfriend, and on and on. And I hope that with my girlfriend, I have more intellectually stimulating conversations than what our favorite drink is, what happened the last time we got shitfaced, how broke she is, etc. I love the experience with strippers, but the fact that so many guys say things like "I don't want to go drinking with her, she's not my girlfriend", makes me wonder what kinds of girlfriends some of you guys have :) Only half joking.
So, the answer is, I don't want a "girlfriend experience" with a stripper. But I"m also not looking to go straight to the hotel room, have sex, then go home -- like you, I have some trouble understanding why I wouldn't just go the escort route if that's all I wanted, save all the trouble around flakiness and the like. I want a Stripper Experience, the whole damn ride. Eat and get drunk together, go strip clubbing together, maybe we'll go back to the room and fuck but maybe she'll just blow me in the parking garage, and if she'll spend the night and we can have sex again -- sign me up, man! I do genuinely enjoy fraternizing with my stripper, but the interaction is specifically not girlfriend-like.
Type 1 - you are there to have sex, she is there to collect money.
Type 2 - she actually enjoys your company (or at least acts like it) and wants the date to be more of an experience. Don’t forget, she still wants to get paid though.
I have made it an evening with type 1 and sometimes those are just awkward nights, striking up conversation through 2 hours of travel, drinks and dinner at times can feel forced. A businessman and a down on her luck stripper will run out of things to talk about quickly.
Know which girl you are taking out and adjust your plans accordingly.
Over here all the girls I see are escorts, mostly English girls who in the main hire a room - usually a private apartment or rarely a hotel room.

The key here is varies widely from person to person.

Now THAT is legit GFE, in my opinion .
