Too much TUSCL

I was listening to Mike and Mike on my drive in this morning and half expected to hear the guest host say, "Stop patronizing me Flagooner."

Then I started thinking it would be hysterical if an ESPN personality is a TUSCL regular and covertly weaves in some TUSCL jargon:

When discussing a player's contract, say that he is "negotiating extras."

Criticize a team for giving a large signing bonus saying that the team should "never pay up front."

Paying a player for past performance instead of what you expect him to deliver during the contract period (do I hear the Lakers with Kobe) is "a chump's game. "
