Lingerie modelling is a neat business form. But strip clubs still have more potential, because there can be unstructured front room fraternizing, before committing to the back room.

So was this a modeling studio or a lingerie shop - i.e. girls in lingerie that that one can get with or an actual shop that sold lingerie and the staff would model it for custies to see what it'd look like - I'm assuming the former

Up front it was a Lingerie shop, but you could have items "modelled" in the back. Which was a model/strip tease/message parlor/if the price is right...
