Civilian or Pro Chances of an STD

Friday, March 3, 2017 9:03 AM
Which group do you think is more likely to pass an STD? I am not speaking of bottom of the barrel street walkers. I am speaking reasonably careful girls that work the clubs for extra money versus the average date who gives it up for dinner and a movie. Which would you go bare with. I wouldn't go bare with either. I think they are about the same chances. I actually think the pro is less likely to have something from a client but would get it from a low life BF. The civilian is more likely to get talked into going bare and guy talking her into it does not care if he passes on something for her to remember him by. Always Hat Up !

The obvious answer is a sex worker because she'll spread it around to more guys between when she contracts it and then finds out she did. I always go bare with civvies but they are in a very low risk group. Over 40 and don't fuck other guys...at least not as a job. I've gone bare with the escort because she's not currently working; she lives in Podunk and has no car. But she's moving back to the Burbs soon and start working again so I don't see much choice. I've gone BB with other low volume sex workers, like my neighbor who treated it as a hobby. I've gone BB with girls I've met on C/L who weren't sex workers too. Real women with full time office jobs; several were nurses in fact.

The safest one would be the professional hooker in Nevada, where they are tested weekly and where there has been no documented history of transmission at any bordello.

I'll take my chances with a pro. What kind of a civie would want to fuck a 75 yo.

Remember, there are STDs out there with little or no symptoms (at least initially) and some STDs may take months if not years before any symptoms show up. DONT BE A FOOL, WRAP THE TOOL!

I think to have any meaning at all, you need to put it in your own context. Mine is: Civilian: 30+ (and more likely 40+) year old professionals: Are far more likely to be picking and choosing just a few partners, most of whom are also professionals. Extras stripper who does BBBJ: She's doing BBBJ several times a day, and though the risk might be small, there is absolutely a risk that she's contracted something, and doesn't even know it. If she's doing BBBJ,she might be doing BBDATY, and again, risks are front and center. She's also doing BBFS possibly with a few men per day, and every one has a chance of exposing her to herpes, HPV, molloscum, even if they wear condoms. And lastly, she's an extras stripper in the first place, because she makes poor choices in life, and HER civilian sex will very often be with high-risk partners, up to and including high risk drug users. As you can see from the above, for me personally, there's just not comparison, the risks are leagues apart.

Civilian. You can get HPV from either and never know...wrap before you tap. This ain't the 60s.

I'm sure there are some civies that had more sex than some pros. There is no absolute correct answer as the whole thing is just a variation of Russian roulette.

Yeah - neither is safe - but one would think it's riskier w/ sex-workers not withstanding the minority of those that get tested regularly as skibum mentioned. IMO those that say civvies are riskier it's kinda wishful thinking b/c they like banging sex-workers.

"DONT BE A FOOL, WRAP THE TOOL!" ------------------------------------------------- This topic comes up on TUSCL every few months. If you're talking about HIV, condoms are about 80% effective and if you're the kind of guy paying a different stripper for sex every week, then you're safer having a single bareback partner where you're both tested. Condoms have nothing to do with HPV throat cancer and the disease is arguably more terrible than HIV. Presently no tests to detect HPV in men and only about 2% of the strains of HPV can cause throat cancer. Throat cancer takes years to develop. If you're going down on your partner, it's something to worry about. I'm sure plenty of strippers are completely safe -- but these are precisely the ones who don't go home with customers.

-->"I'm sure plenty of strippers are completely safe -- but these are precisely the ones who don't go home with customers" Agree with the risks, including risks of dangerous forms of HPV (which are present even with a condom), etc. I'd disagree with this one part above though, RM, if by "completely safe" you are referring to behavior at the club with customers -- not a theory, a fact, this behavior doesn't rule out OTC. I OTC almost exclusively with strippers from non-extras clubs, where the possibility of unsafe behavior at the club rarely exists. Even those strippers, I feel are MUCH more likely to have been exposed to risky diseases, than the kinds of civilians I hobnob with, because of what I've seen of the disparate risk choices in their private lives.

HPV and throat cancer are the #1 reasons for no DATY in non-monogamous relationships. I think condoms, when used properly, are more than 80% effective in preventing the transmission of HIV; those numbers may be overlooking other non-intercourse unprotected foreplay. Regardless, condoms have little to no protection in preventing the transmission of HPV and herpes (don't forget oral herpes from kissing on the lips or elsewhere). That's why, even though I am occasionally weak, I like mileage but not necessarily extras.

Duo, that's an interesting comment. Most people on Tinder can't hold a conversation.....so it usually doesn't amount to anything. Also, many girls state in their profile that they aren't looking for a hook up AKA booty call. And because of safety reasons I really doubt most women are hooking up with dudes they hardly know. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it doesn't happen....I'm just saying it probably doesn't happen frequently
