Anyone notice that the Clinton Foundation is closing?
As soon as Hillary's lose was confirmed the donations dried up and most of the promised money from foreign donors and governments went unpaid.
Let's analyze this: Massive amounts of money given and later promised to the foundation while she was secretary of state and later potential president, then potential president looses big so influence dies a deserved death and the promised money goes unpaid!
Conclusion: 1 + 1 = 2 ... Now 0 + 0 = 0. Clinton Foundation was really a front for a pay for favors scheme therefore her loss means no more favors possible equals no more pay for play money, means the Clinton Foundation closes so the Billarys can live off the tens of millions they already skimmed!
Oops no more plastic surgery and Hollywood make-up artists for Chelsea and her high pay no work job is gone too!
The Clintons, Bushes, Romneys, Sanders, Reids, Obamas and a who host of old machine politicos on both side of the aisle need just fade away. I am not saying Trump has all the answers but the country wants a change of direction away from socialism and fresh ideas are needed! The old crooks have endangered us (USA) long enough with their self-serving tripe: wars, social engineering, oppressive economic policies and regulations.
Where is Eisenhower when you need him (the father of the civil rights movement: eisenhower.archives.gov) ?

One thing won't change, Slick Willy is still gonna be banging lots of women!

Are you kidding me? If he consulted his doctor he'd be told his heart isn't healthy enough for sexual activity. His banging women days are long gone. Just a matter of time before he falls over completely. I'm sure his wife's loss in the election didn't exactly add to his remaining time.

Well maybe he's the guy the puts the returned books back on the shelf at his library.

I am still hopeful that there will be real indictments over the Clinton Foundation, Pay for Play, Speech equal bribery, Sale of the office of Secretary of State, and failure to comply with security statutes.

I agree with Dallas, but even with a Trump presidency the establishment will still protect their own. Let's face it , we live in a two-tiered justice system.

Yes. This is one area that is non-partisan.

It isn't unusual for a criminal enterprise to fail. Now that the Democrats aren't in power with her in the White House she cannot sell out America for cash. Bill will just have to find his own rape victims.

Powerful retired politicians often still have influence and connections - my gut feeling for shutting down the "foundation" may be to get rid of damaging evidence and/or avoid any further snooping into its dubious dealings

Maybe she made a deal with Trump to keep herself out of jail?

Dougster, though your comment is pure speculation, it does ring with a possible truth. I would be disappointed if the Clintons exited the national stage without a felony conviction, but if the exit sticks - I'll get over it!

I think a lot of us have "elected officials" fatigue. I'm happy to see the fall of lifetime politicians when they come back to earth.

Anyone watch the Frontline program on PBS called "The Divided States of America" - it was 4 hours over 2 days and pretty-interesting

Divided? Since when have people had differing ideas on politics? Totally new!

This one foundation will dwarf the deals foreign countries will make with Trumps companies. Funny anyone still cares about Clinton; she lost. Oh but Trumps businesses and investments...it's all in a trust run by his kids so he won't have any conflicts of interest to US policy and his millions. You believe that.l
I see a little too much hypocrisy here.

Yeah now foreign donors will have to cozy up to Trump's kids if they want to buy influence!
I honestly am not sure which option I find less appealing.
It amuses me that people think anything has really changed.

Speaking of foreign donors = = = did you guys see that Hillary's biggest backer, Soros, lost over a billion in the market betting on a Trump crash - after wasting a billion trying to get Hillary elected? He is already predicting that Trump will fail - and helping that prediction along with every dirty trick he has.

Is the Clinton Foundation closing? Do you have any links to articles explaining this?

It's closing because the donations dried up now that there is no reason to buy access? I'm shocked. Next thing you'll tell me is that Donald Trump was elected president.

Interesting. Maybe there was something to all of the claims it was a big scam for political favors after all. I would not have expected a legit charity to just up and close like that. So perhaps it was less than legit? Interesting.

Well I don't know about the second, but the first has zero credibility, as it is linked to the Korean Intelligence Community, and to Sung Yung Moon. It is right wing propaganda.
It is possible that the Clinton Foundation is taking a bit of a hit, but lets look and see what else we can find.

Looks to me like it is doing just fine. Look forward to more of their good work. Lets follow it and see what comes.

Is Athenian Democracy the remedy for "The Matrix" like dystopia which Dougster and his friends are driving us towards by continuing finanicalization? And is advancing technology the problem, or is that just a cover to deflect attention away from financialization?

"San Francisco's Barbary Coast was at its zenith-wide open, bawdy, brawling, brimming with uncivilized humanity. Painted dance hall girls flounced their way to fame and fortune as a rough-and-tumble assortment of miners, sailors and railroaders chugged the rawest whiskey in the West. All that remained of the Gold Rush was the savagery born of disillusionment."

Sheri's Ranch, Pahrump. Looks like they are at least trying to find ways to introduce free form fraternizing, and hopefully before committing. I hope it is not the Victorian Parlor and the line up any more.
