A very minor point in a book I read recently stated that King Henry II's favorite court jester was named "Roland the Farter".
I think Roland might have been one of crazyjoe's ancestors!
Unfortunately, the statement about Roland wasn't well sourced so more details would take work. But it is still pretty brilliant even if it is apocryphal! ;)

Roland was also known by the name of Carter and sailed a lot for the King. He was well known there too and a song containing this verse is a tribute to him.
