Any of you ever do these. Not talking about going to vip rooms, but some clubs sell annual and lifetime memberships for free entrance, use of vip areas, etc. Don't personally know too much about them and don't club often enough to justify it and heard stories about some clubs voiding them if ownership changes. Anyone with experience?
I put them in the same boat as extended-warranties - basically a good-deal for the seller.
I guess it can work if one goes to the same SC very frequently - I once bought a $100 lifetime membership in order not to pay the VIP dance room tax (don't remember if it had other perks) - this was back n the 2000s in Dallas and I don't recall how much it was to use the VIP dance room (maybe $20 for the whole night I think; i.e. allowed you to go back to the VIP dance room as many times as one wanted).- but alas I lost the damn card after 2 or 3 uses and a year or so later the club went way downhill anyway and eventually closed.
I've never purchased them. They are a total ripoff and go against my aversion to paying for the opportunity to buy things. I have been given passes at a few clubs that I had regularly frequented.
It pays to be friendly to the bouncers, managers, bartenders, and door girls.
I bought a lifetime membership to Ritz in Houston for $700 back in 2011. It got me free admission to the club and no club fee for VIP. Seemed like a lot of money, but there was this young lady that worked there... At the time the cost of VIP was $100 to the club. I guess I got my money's worth within about two months. (There was this certain young lady, you see...). Eventually, she left town, the quality of Ritz dancers went way down, the new city of Houston rules went into effect and I stopped going there. As recently as six months ago I stopped in and the membership still covered admission to the club.
So, I found it very worthwhile at that club at that time. I've not done it elsewhere because I've not found another girl like that one.
Yes. I do have a lifetime membership to the Platinum Plus clubs. It was issued at the now closed, infamous Memphis Platinum Plus. I have used it at 4 of their other clubs but the chain is in trouble with the law now and the clubs suck. So I haven't used it in about 15 months. I got the card free. When I asked about buying one, I was told $250/yr or $500 lifetime.
It can be simple economics if you visit the club a lot and it provides free cover and extra perks. If it pays off in less than a year and I feel safe buying it, not too high a price, I might buy it. I thought about buying the PP $500 life time vip membership. It would have paid off and saved me money if I had gone for it right away. Instead I waited. Glad I never bought one in the last couple years. Strip clubs aren't always the safest thing to invest money in if you're not sure how long you will visit a club or not sure how long you will stay in the area. If the break even time is a year or longer and you have doubts, I would pass on it.
I got a free pass from one of the managers, he just walked up and gave it to me one day, and I'm a low spender. My free pass is valid for happy hour ($10 cover) and regular hours ($20 cover), so that is anytime before 3 am. 6 months later my SC introduced a membership program. I dont remember the prices though and Im not at the SC to read their booklet. Basic one was $100 a month for no cover, including late night (after 3 am) period ($40 cover). No other benefits I think.
Premium one was $400 a month. It includes
-unlimited hookah (meh, I only smoke with friends and have none to take to SC)
-free vip rooms (I wonder how this works financially for the stripper, forced work for free?, its $80 for 15 mins, stripper gets $50, so is the SC taking a bet a customer wont do > 2 hrs of private room time a month?)
-vip/reserved seating area (worthless, 1 ft higher than main floor, on a sat night, busiest of week, 25%-50% seats are empty, there is also the closed off wing in the SC that customers have never been seated in before due to lack of customers, although on day 1 of the SC, when my SC had "daytime hours", all customers sat in the wing, and main floor was closed, at some point, maybe when daytime hours ended, they went to only having the main floor open, even if 1 customer is sitting there, instead of alternating between main floor being open and the wing being open)
It depends. I have $300 per year membership for Delilahs,Philly. You can save $140 on 30 mins champagne court vip room before 7 pm. First drink is free. No cover charge anytime. You can bring one friend free.
Penthouse east of St Louis has some sort of membership for $1500 per year. That is a lot of clubbing at one club and Desire in Providence has a membership that gets you up to the upper floors of the club. I have no idea whether either is worth the money.
i rather take a girl arriba. butt i have twice encountered girls that wanted to go into the vip areas in the 'exclusive miami' instead of arriba up in the cascadas hotel.

Do you like to hook up with your girl in the VIP room? Better? Or is the main floor fine for that?

Hotter and more forward girls prowling around in the VIP area, or is main floor just as good?
Does seem like the entire place is set up to let you have whatever you want.
