Thinking it might be time to cut ties with this hobby...

...or at the very least make my visits very scarce. Started developing an interest in getting myself an EVO and modding it down the road. As a person who's also a computer enthusiast, it was inevitable that I would find my way from computer performance to car performance since they're both similar. It would be nice to continue but from a financial standpoint, I'll have to prioritize other things in my life than buying dances. After I achieve a certain threshold of performance and pay the car within 3-5 years, maybe then the club bug will creep back up on me. Anyone ever done something similar but eventually found themselves coming back to it?

I've been clubbing off and on since I was legal aka 18. I plain on clubbing until I die and right now I'm 34. With this said yes you will go throw many different fazes in your clubbing life span. I've had times when I went damn near daily and other years I only made it out 2 or 3 times for that whole year...I've even skipped a year before. Right now I've been clubbing every other month and I'm about to change it to every 4 months. Just need the time away to other things like yourself. I do poker, video games, workout, 5k walks, side business I'm starting up and so on Stick with it my friend but feel free to space it out and only club once you got the itch

Ditto with Juice. I started about a week after I turned 18. During some years I might club only 2 times a year. I even took a 12 year break and only just recently picked it up a year ago. I have found in to past I cycled from concentrating on computers to cars to high-end home stereo (audiophile) and back again. It's not uncommon to only have extra funds for one vice at a time. That makes total sense to me. The clubs and the women will still be here when you feel like returning in the future.

I enjoy my BMW, but I enjoy strip clubs even more. If I had to choose between them, I would be hitchhiking to the club.

I know what you mean. You seem very similar to me having these additional hobbies on the side. I may do what you have said with spacing my visits out even further be it months or even years. It's not like these dancers who I've gotten familiar with would care. Although I'm disappointed the last ebony dancer on my last visit never got back to me with meeting out the club which would have been a first. Oh well.

Yes, there are many things in life to do, to pursue. I've enjoyed my Vette for 18 years. I ski, I sail, Clubbing is always an option with all the fine young babes to enjoy. I wouldn't wait 3-5 years, One can always just go in the club and enjoy the beauty. Good luck to you.

rcp, personally I have never done repeat visits with a dancer until I started lurking on this site and SW. I admit I was curious about CFs and ATFs and building rapport between visits. I was curious about "what I was missing." It is nice but it is not the be all end all. Actually, texting a fave and returning to VIP her 4 times a year would be about perfect. There'd be enough passage of time for there to be plenty to talk about. I do agree that I would rather club than have an expensive sports car or luxury car. My toy is a mustang gt 5.0, FYI.

I almost bought an EVO about 5 years ago, I sometimes look back after a night of SCs and wonder what I could have spent that money on and actually have something other than a memory that Ill forget after a day or so. I say buy the Mitsu EVO!

Its almost fall and that starts hiking season. Then comes winter and ski season so my visits will go from 8-10 times a month to 3-4 because I will have better things to do. Since I stopped golfing I seemto go a lot more, but it is getting boring lately.

I think it's good for everyone to have a hobby. And during phases of your life your hobbies may change. Some people see going strip clubbing as a hobby, I've referred to it as that before but really I don't feel it's a hobby like collect stamps or working on a car. Anything to keep your mind occupied on your free time is good, well as long as you're not collecting child porn.

There's a difference between cutting ties and cutting back. I used to go 2-3 times a month but am cutting back to every 4-6 weeks. I say as long as you enjoy and can afford it, continue, otherwise if not or if another hobby replaces the thrill/feeling, drop it. The SC scene will always be there.

The funny thing is I don't really drive much in general which shows since I've owned my 2004 Tacoma for well over 11 year with only around 80k mileage. Plus I've always pictured myself driving something faster but the convenience of being able to haul shit in the back of the truck was so satisfying when shopping for furniture. I have a friend who's telling me I should vlog my journey of modding it. That actually sounds pretty fun to do especially when I plan on getting a new Note7 from my S5. As what was said...I'll probably cut back instead of cut ties especially when it's always exciting meeting new dancers that I've never met before.

I still say that it is perverted to use strip clubs as your primary form of sexual gratification. It is perverted because of all that you are not doing, like spending time with and growing close to a girl. And we all know that strip clubs are very expensive. So I feel that for most people it really cannot be something done heavily on a long term basis. SJG

Yeah; this hobby can def drain one's finances - for me going less frequently really takes the fun out of SCing - if I wanna save $$$ I rather just not go at all - but that's just me personally not that it's the best option.

San Jose guy... I guess I'm perverted. in the normal world it is hard for me as an old fart to attract a beautiful young lady. and I certainly don't have enough by any means to be a sugar daddy.

I have a bunch of hobbies, but none of them have forced me to cut off my strip clubbing (although perhaps forced me to cut down occasionally). I don't refer to strip clubbing (or any activity in the sex industry) as a "hobby", I kind of wince when people refer to it that way, but whatevs

This guy has lots of conservative political views which I do not go along with. But about how it is with young women, I say he is basically correct. They do fit into his dog eat dog and ruthlessness view of reality. [view link] You just watch how they conduct themselves, many of them are attracted to older men. It may seem strange, even illogical, but the evidence is overwhelming. They don't hold older guys to peer culture standards, so they are different from the older guys, but they don't seem to care. And there are ways you can go about increasing you appeal to them. R. Don Steele is good about explaining this, though I still maintain distance from him in this. Here, [view link] Born in 1943. Are you older than he is? What girl would refuse to go out with him? They are more interested in personality and social role and experience, than money. Money is after all only a sometimes means to an ends, not an ends itself. Okay, most girls are trendy, in how they dress. They want to impress their girlfriends, and so they want a boyfriend the same age, who measures up to peer culture standards. And these are the guys who get them pregnant. But some girls, like 5 to 10% are not trendy, they are avant-garde. They dress in outlandish theatrical ways. They don't care what girls their age say about them. They want to know older guys. They know that the older guy is different from she and her friends, and this is why they want to know him. R. Don Steele, in his 70's, is married to one in her late 20's. But most of the time the girl will be with the guy for a while, and this will be good. College age girls are interesting because they have not yet become completely marriage fixated. Lots of commentators have written about this. And then there are those on lecture circuits, college girls go after them like they were rock stars. When I started going to strip clubs I was the same age as the girls. And I found that even though they were being held up as sex symbols, all I had to do is never treat them like prostitutes, and they were totally green light with me. Now today these girls are still the same age. But as I started to get older than them, things did change. They were actually even more open to me, and I started to reach the point where I was better able to deal with them. If say you started seeing one P4P OTC. You can make it so the money is not really fee for service, but instead is mistress maintenance, which is not the same as sugar baby money. I believe that eventually a real relationship will develop and the money won't be a big deal, no more than what most guys spend on GFs. A very good deal is mostly what you want is to have an out of town girl you can bed down with periodically, like around once every 28 days. Most of the time, if you are not paying them, then they want you spending money on them. The spending is more just to show that you are in compliance with normative expectations. Well that spending money on them is completely wasteful. So better if you keep it in the realm where you can just hand her cash. ( also, if a girl is not ready to accept cash, then you take her shopping. See Helen Gurly Brown's Sex and the Single Girl. ) Lots of AMP girls tried to line me up for sessions in their own homes. And they gave great auditions to show how capable they would be. I didn't want that because I was married and I knew that that kind of thing, letting the girl become my mistress, will usually result in badly hurt feelings. This is how real trouble can start. But so much better to be helping a girl pay her mortgage, then just wasting money on her in frivolous ways, or letting a sugar baby waste it. The European Mistress System is better. They practice it in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Sugar Babies are an American invention because of our fixation on adolescence. In my own marriage it never was able to evolve beyond the consumer consumption phase. We never got to the point of putting money into things we both agreed on as objectives. Mick Jagger's rich famous Bad boy musician celebrity statusis become such a force back in the 60s (not to mention his style). if he didn't have his well known celebrity status that precedes him and was broke and have no talent he wouldn't be so attractive to the young ladies. I for one have no celebrity status and no talent and definitely no looks. money is the only thing that makes me attractive. A lot of girls like money.

You may not have money, celebrity status, or special talents or special looks, but there are still ways that you could be attractive to young women. SJG

The point about Mic Jagger is just that when they ask your age you say, "I'm two years younger than Mic Jagger." SJG

Interesting perspective san_jose_guy. I've sort of had some experience in the 'giving' sense but I've strayed away from it which brought me over to hitting the club. As for age, I'm complimented for my young look but we all know that it's just bullshit for dancers to keep us hooked into spending more on them. Hobby or not, going to the club is pretty much just a source of erotic entertainment. We can get it for free 'virtually' but nothing beats the on-hand fantasy up front and personal. I guess that's why I find myself coming back. As for the car, I've decided to save up for a couple of years (maybe about three) so I can get my dream car instead...a Nissan GTR. Been in love with it since being first introduced to the original Skylines back in the days when they weren't brought to the states. Only downside would be not getting the full feeling of a manual shift and the expensive maintenance. However, seeing as how I don't drive much in the first place while dealing with nasty LA/SoCal traffic once in awhile...I think it should work (I hope).

Find places and situations where you can flirt with young civvies. See how it goes. My own experiences is that it is eye opening, and often they'll be eating out of your hand. SJG

The Nissan GTR (harkens back to the Skylines) is a better choice, IMHO. Godzilla! 1000BHP, drifting [view link]

I go because I have nothing better to do. I didn't go last weekend because the local club sucks sometime plus I must be fighting off a flu virus or something. I'm literally burning up tonight and feel like it's 100 degrees even though I have my thermostat at 71. Eating pizza probably didn't help. Hopefully the hurricane rain we are getting will keep things cooler.
