OTC Develop - VIP or Front Room

Ch3ll
Arizona
So when I was fairly new to the SC I had two OTC occur with 2 different strippers. One was in Vegas after she declined the first night of her getting off shift, second day was successful (no sex). The second was here local after three cancels/standups we finally get a room and go all the way. Was able to get her again on a second occasion. So, what do they both have in common... I did way more VIPs with them than floor dances. The first in Vegas I outright asked and the second over time it formed if you will.

So for those with OTC has it been a result of VIPs or front room dances that got the girls interested? I know the business of it is money, but do you feel VIP or front room or some other aspect created the OTC?

Shouts out to SJG, since I'm using front room like he does.

It was my magnetic personality (and getting a personal recommendation from Juice)

I hit dives where dances are on the floor & most custies don't buy many dances - I get lots of dances (usually from multiple dancers but sometimes a lot from just one) so I stand-out not only to the dancer dancing for me but the rest of the hos (kinda big-fish in small- pond) - thus although I don't OTC much I do get a fair # of ph #s thrown my way often w/o me asking.

I assume if one spends a good amount whether it's dances or VIP one will be in a better position to pique a dancer's interest - but VIP is probably sorta the dancer's holy-grail so I assume VIP would make a bigger difference

I guess I never really thought about the floor dances like that. That's been what I've been doing lately, but it's been to get more variety for my money. Might have to go back to how I first started, pick one and keep on the target. Man, I miss the beginning sometimes.

Spending. The System get picked on a lot but there is something to be said by portraying yourself as being relatively safe, pleasant, clean, and having some money.

For me spending (tipping) in the front room. All but one dancer have been the result of just chatting and paying for time in the front room and on the first visit.

The other one, it was one the 3 and 4th visit but I had gotten lots of dances and paid for lots of convo on the 1st and 2nd visit. In her case of be 2nd visit -- to out this in perspective -- it was my birthday and I scheduled her ahead of time to be there and essentially bought her out for the whole shift from 9.30-2:00, she was late).

One comment I sometimes get is, "guys who tip like you do expect sex." That's not intentional on my part, so that's while I mention the system. It's mostly front room for me and mostly just convo and not GFE.

She was late by 30 minutes, not 2 1/2 hours. Asked her to be there around 9. She arrived at 9 around the same time I did and spent 30 min in the dressing room. I guess by dancer standards, she was on time.

I still remember something she said that night. She couldn't believe I was so confident that I would be back at the club, exactly on the day and time, in exactly 5 weeks. She thought that was so random. Both '5' being random to her and the fact it was an 'exact time' far off into the 'future.' She just HAD to show up to see if I'd actually be there. She really could not believe someone to make and keep a commitment like that. I think it just goes to show you have differently some dancers live their lives.

I haven't yet followed up on OTC. I still can't get over the mental hurdle of escorting. Also, it's a money issue (for me), too. Of the two, it's mostly the money.

Heh, I was laughing to myself reading this. I've had multiple ATFs tell me variations of the same thing, "I HATE when guys make plans with me out into the future, I can't plan out that far, I hate plans that are even a week out." I don't think this is a "some dancers" thing. I think it's a "most dancers" thing ... it's one of a cluster of behaviors that many strippers have in common

I think beyond the fact that they just lack the skills to track and keep promises, there's always a huge factor of: she's a young party girl with tons of options, and she has no way to know whether that's the week when Outside Lands or Global Citizen occurs (well, you and I have a way of knowing, via a calendar, but SHE doesn't have a way of knowing), or whether a bunch of her strippers friends are going to up and decide to head to Vegas that week, or if some customers richer than you is going to invite her somewhere. In short, between her lack of planning skills and the fact that she has loads of options and wants to keep herself available for better ones, long-term planning is not a thing.

Back to OP's question. I think in theory, with strippers as perfect economic actors, it doesn't matter... if you spend $100, you spend $100, regardless. In practice, I'd be surprised if there wasn't some small subconscious psychological advantage for the VIP customer, there's just a perception that a guy throwing out a hundred per shot is a bigger spender than a guy dribbling out 20s.

I don't have much use for lap dances so it's always VIP room for me... a LOT of time on the floor (it's typically an hour on the floor before I even do my first VIP), and then VIPs. It's not uncommon that during slow periods (I specialize in clubbing during slow times!) no girl in the place will have done anything but lappers... except my strippers, who has had multiple VIPs. And the other girls absolutely notice. I think this can only help increase my value in her mind. I don't think this is magical or anything, but I tend to like OTCing with girls who are selective (that is, they often waffle at first), and I think it has to give me at least a little tiny bit more of an edge. I think being a valuable customer in her mind can only help your case

Nine times out of ten it will be a result of money spent and usually that means VIPs.

You can feed your girl money in the front room, and there should be no house cut.

But the front room is also more open, no structuring to it. You just interact with her, let the two of you get to know each other. Much better than letting her sell you dances. Save the back rooms until needed. Or just take her home with you.

Every time that OTC has been brought up by a dancer has occurred in the private dance area. Most of the time it's after the dance has finished and before heading back to the main floor. I would say at least 90% of the time it's after I have spent quite a bit on her, either having gotten more than four songs and given a big tip, or having paid for a half hour dance.
