According to the article she has no means to support herself and he earned all of the money as a partner in a law firm. In my mind that means he should be able to spend it however he wants.
If he is dumb enough $177k on strippers in 4 months he has earned that right.
$177K is a lot, but if the guy was starting with $3M she might have freaked a little early.
