Dancers with similar or same names working at a club

I have noticed a trend lately in clubs. Dancers with similar or the same name. Years ago clubs would be very careful that dancers have different names, not even allowing dancers from different shifts to have same or similar names, and in some cases when the dancer left retiring the name for year.

The only one I recalled years ago was Kahoots in Columbus where there was at one time four dancers named Alexis, Alexia, Alexandra and Alexandria. All but Alexandria liked to be called Alex when not on stage which made it even worse if you were asking for one of those three.

Now for the last year or two I have noticed multiple instances of this. For example in Detroit, I met two dancers named Desire and Desiree at Henry VII. Also a Maria, and Marie at Criket. Two dancers named Diamond at both in Scarletts Ybor in Tampa and 2001. In Dayton, Ohio there is a Jessica and Jessica Chase. As well as Alex,Alexis and Alexia.

I have also met others including two Heidi's, two Bambi's at once.

Yes there are common stripper names, but come on dancers and clubs show some originality.

At my local club recently one night, they had Danni, Danielle and Daniela. I thought it was plain weird.

My old favorite club used to handle this in as about as stupidly as possible. They had 2 girls who went by Phoenix. Basically, whoever got there first got to be Phoenix for the night and the other girl had to be someone else. I thought it was disrespectful to the dancers, especially the one who had worked there for years. The situation eventually resolved itself when the other Phoenix decided not to dance there anymore, probably because she liked her name too much to have to go by something else there and only there. It sounds stupid, but it wouldn't surprise me if that's why she quit there (I did see her in other clubs later). It would be nice if they had learned something from the experience, but then they had two Angels for a bit, only the one would be Angel Eyes if the first Angel (one I had the pleasure of banging a few times) was there.

One simple thing they could do is tell them they have to have a last name, which is what my #2 club tells dancers to do if they are the second girl with the name.

At one of my fave FL clubs, I've seen the following combos on stage at the same time: Aiden & Hayden, Mila & Miley, and.... London & Paris

I've seen similar names, that's always been around as long as I can remember, at least in the less corporate clubs. But in no club I've ever been in, in decades of doing this, have two girls been allowed to have the same name.

There are multiple fun cases of: Candy quits, a new girl comes in and now she takes the name Candy. Now Old Candy comes back, but hey, her name is already taken, so she's Cinnamon. So Cinnamon is all irritated about New Candy. Eventually New Candy leaves, and Cinnamon changes her name back to Candy again. Fun fun!

Thinking back, Fantasies Nightclub had a Tiffany 1 and a Tiffany 2. When a dancer who had originally danced there as Tiffany returned, the club put its foot down and she became Destiny, avoiding a Tiffany 3 or The Original Tiffany.
