Bra sizes have gone the way of dress sizes. My wife was/is a 34 DD but last time she bought bras they put her into a 34G. She hasn't grown at all but the industry is f'ed up.

She is NOT a 34 G! It is just the bra industry changing the sizes. She wears a size 8 in her dresses but the sizes that fit are anywhere are between 6 and 12. Women's clothes are crazy sized.
