I used to like flying through CLT a lot more than ATL. It has the pleasant rocking chairs where you can relax during a long layover and lots of plugs and free wifi. But I just flew through CLT yesterday and it was horrible. By the time I got on the plane I had a horrible headache. Not brilliant!
My headache wasn't helped by the fact that my plane sat on the tarmac forever while a storm rolled through. I though I was being nice when I gave my aisle seat to the pregnant woman seated next to me. It was a 2x2 configuration on the plane and I hate window seats. But when she came I offered to scoot over so she would have easier access to the lav. So I was crammed into a damn window seat feeling miserable. Definitely not brilliant!
At least I'm back hanging out with little 4got now! The pet-sitter said he was acting weird and I was only gone for a few days.

No disrespect intended for Atlanta or Charlotte as cities! I'm just bitching about how CLT airport has become a zoo. I'm sure anybody who travels knows that ATL has long been a zoo!

Blame the airlines not the cities. I don't fly delta anymore because of crap it's pulled. The only airline I've never had problems with is southwest.

I'm and east coaster and if my flights have a layover, over 75% of them are going through ATL or Charlotte.
Charlotte is a pleasant enough airport but I've been fucked the most with delays and cancellations there than any other airport.
ATL is huge and crowded, I always have to run for a connector even if I allow ample time. If I have to choose the lesser of 2 evils, I always pick ATL even if my flights longer due to less risk of cancellation/delays.
I've never been caught overnight in ATL, it's happened so many times in Charlotte I've lost count, maybe 15?
