I was always amazed that one young woman was working at a smaller local club. I thought she could make so much more money elsewhere. Well, she has. She no longer works at the club. She has essentially become an escort. She uses the club to develop a customer base.

I don't understand what you mean by "she uses the club to develop a customer base", in present tense, as if she still works there. You mean she's doing escorting with the customers she developed back when she worked there? If that's the right model for her, good for her. It seems juvenile to me to engage in "OTCing is better than escorting" discussion.
^^^^ I knew a stripper that was seeing me and a "few other" PLs (so I was told) for OTC. When she was too unorganized and/or lazy to be responsible enough to go into a club for work on a regular basis she just decided to put an add up on the internet and become an escort.
She took her "customer base" with her as she continued to see me and others she met in the club prior to her leaving. Once I found this out, I quit seeing her, I would imagine most of the other PLs she met in the club probably continued to see her. She certainly wasn't getting any new customers from the club after that point, but I would imagine she could go back to the club anytime she wanted if she need to round up a new customer base.
Of course all clubs don't like this practice and it's a good way to get fired and banned from ever working in that club again.
Yeah, my interest is 100% in low volume girls, so I'm not interested in an escort model at all -- OTC, with a girl from a no-extras club, who preferably resisted the idea of OTC and I had to gain her trust and talk her into it, is definitely my preferred model.
A good percentage of the veteran dancers who just hang at the bar with their friends most of the time are escorts. You can always tell which ones they are.
Some of the most loved dancers in my area I have referred to as the "Beloved Latina Escorts." They really are good with guys. You must respect them. But if you do they will make you feel like a king.
They just like guys, not judgmental like white and other Americanized girls are.
