I read that a bust in the French Quarter took place a few months back and as a result the services available are not as good as they previously were in the clubs there. Are extras possible in any of these clubs anymore and does anyone know what dancers are asking for?
I was disappointed in the strip club scene in NOLA, especially those in the French Quarter. I have never, ever been required to sign an agreement stating that sex will NOT occur in a club until my recent visit to the Penthouse, NOLA. Presumably this policy is a result of police action directed at the strip clubs in the French Quarter. So my tentative conclusion is that the strip clubs in the French Quarter are over priced tourist traps that do not deliver much value in terms of adult entertainment. Maybe someone who is a more frequent visitor can offer a more encouraging perspective.
Here's a copy of a recent review that I posted about the Penthouse:
January 19, 2016 • Made a visit to the Penthouse just off of Bourbon Street based on the positive reviews on TUSCL. The physical layout has been described by others. It is a nicely appointed club with a bar and stage downstairs and private dance areas upstairs. Admission was $12 and beers were $8. It was early evening (9PM) but there were only 4 dancers on shift. All of the dancers were attractive and in shape. Chatted with a dark haired dancer for a while and we headed upstairs for a sample dance ($40) and then eventually to a slightly more private area. Strangely, I was required to sign an acknowledgment that sex did not occur in the club prior to going to the slightly more private dance area. That was a first! The dance was sensual with decent two way contact but pretty limited mileage and, in accord with the agreement, certainly no hint of sex. Overall, the Penthouse and the French Quarter were pretty tame as afar as the strip club scene goes.
OT: Was one (or more?) of the clubs RAIDED recently? I thought I recalled reading about that a few months ago. Correct me if I am wrong.
You are also in an electron year and sometimes politicians like to make a names for themselves and vice raids and vice tickets are common in an electron cycle. Something to think about.
I was in NO recently. Had a decent time at PH once I had the right girl, but they were more strict than I'd been led to believe.... a recent raid/bust would explain it.
The girls at the dives were still offering up everything though.
I sure hope they haven't cracked down too much. I will be there with my wife from Saturday through Friday and we'll be looking for high 2-way contact (though probably not much more in the way of extras unless things go amazingly well). Having studied the reviews I was planning on focusing on PH, Rick's, and Hustler. I know those are probably tourist traps but we're staying right in the area so it's convenient and possibly the "nicer" atmosphere with the hotter women. If anyone has better suggestions, please let me know.
I've heard for 30 years that French Quarter clubs are lame. (I've been there twice but never went clubbing). Which makes sense since that's prime real estate and the owners must be very protective of their liquor licenses.
