Interesting that "desertscrub" used the Prop rather than the Flag to ping it, tho.

lopaw I have done that too it gets posted immediately as a prop, but if you use the flag the it gets reviewed before it gets posted.

Props go in as soon as you submit them. Flags have to wait for Founder to find time to enter them.

Gotcha, twentyfive. From what I've read here nothing usually happens when reviews are flagged anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter :(

^^^^To desertscrub don't worry about offending anyone, the clubs that you have posted club ad of the day, deserve much worse than what you are posting, actually you are being too kind to these ripoff artists.

Well, I hope he likes his club. He's paid enough to have it.

Shill reviews inflate rating scores, which sucks. For some of us, time and money are precious commodities, neither of which we can afford to waste.

If Sheriff Scrub helps me call into question an overly flattering or overly generous review, I simply say thank you. I venture a guess that Scrub is correct 20 times for every 1 misfire. Either flagging or propping a bullshit review helps me skip over its contents quickly, which I also appreciate.

Key West is a heavy tourist area – AFAIK the clubs there suck and probably survive by ROBing unsuspecting tourists.

Thus the shill reviews are probably a feeble attempt for them to be able to keep ROBing unsuspecting tourists.

I have seen the Key West shill reviews since I joined TUSCL in early-2012 (and probably been going on b/f that).
