Early front-runner for 2016 PL of the year

From a recent review of some POS Vegas club named “Club Paradise” that I was not even aware-of:
“... This is my first time in Vegas and I was celebrating turning 50 last night. My friend wanted to go to a gentlemen's club so they took my to your establishment. We paid the cover sat down and some ladies came over. One asked me if I would like a VIP Dance since it's my birthday. I said sure. She said it would be $1,000 per girl. I offered her $500 and we agreed on $600. From that moment on my birthday turned into a Perfect Hell. The girls kept telling me they needed a couple more dollars for a tip. Then they told me I needed to buy a $300 bottle of wine. They kept coming over and taking my credit cards, bring me shots, and having me sign all sorts of papers. Not even sure what they were or said. Then another girl comes over and asks the girl giving me a lap dance if she could join. She said sure. Then another girl came over and did the same. Before knew it they ringing up all kinds of changes on my assorted credit cards. By the end of the night they must have depleted every one of my cards because they were pissed that they couldn't get anymore money out of me and pretty much told me I better find a way to pay the. Going over all my credit card statements this morning I realized that they took over $7,000 from me. Not only my credit cards but also my Visa Check card which is tied to my checking account. I have called every credit and plan on disputing every transaction except the original $600 and cover fee, I think that's only fair to the first girl. You only hear about things like this happening to all kinds of people but you never really think it is going to happen to you. I am going to try to contact management as soon as they come in and explain my story in hopes that I can get some of my money back, but I'm skeptical. Especially after I read some very discouraging articles on this club being shut down this year for fraudulent activity. If they will not do the right thing I plan on taking this matter as high as I can within reason.
After speaking with the manager today they are hiding behind the pieces of paper they made me sign while I was very VERY intoxicated. Basically there is nothing he said they can do. So in conclusion I paid $7,950 for 2 hours worth of entertainment ...”

Eh.
$8K in a Vegas strip club?
Probably happens every weekend when an NBA, NFL or MLB player comes in to town... Those clubs are used to it.
Also had an occasion at OG in Vegas to have some of those papers put before me. Vegas is nothing but a Leviathan designed to part your money from you. Live and learn. Never have taken a credit card into a club again. Simple lesson.
But first this club did have a raid for this very thing in June 2014:

"My friend wanted to go to a gentlemen's club so they took my to your establishment."
Why does that sentence read like a message sent to the club? As opposed to written for a review site.
"I am going to try to contact management as soon as they come in..."
"After speaking with the manager today..."
One second the review is about contacting mgmt later and the next it's after speaking with mgmt?
"Especially after I read some very discouraging articles on this club being shut down this year for fraudulent activity."
This year is only 11 days old plus via google I found articles about 2014 credit card fraud and closed. But don't see any news about it being shut in 2015 or 2016.
It sounds like he charged multiple credit cards (and his debit card!) to get to $8K (well, $7950)! If you don't have available credit of $8K on a single card, that is they'd credit gods' way of saying "don't spend $8K on strippers!"
I have no idea why he gave them the second credit card! Once you max out one you stop, no ifs, ands, or buts! And even maxing out a credit card is seriously non-brilliant!
People should mentally set an amount below which they don't care about the money! If something starts to cost more than that you better be enjoying yourself! If it's below that amount you just say "whatever" even if you had a non-brill time! For me that amount is around $500! If I've spent $500 and things aren't going my way I stop, but I'm not bent out of shape! If it's much more than that and I'm still investing for no return, shame on me!
So, if true, shame on him!
Non-brilliant typo!
The story is really not too far-fetched; I'm sure it's happened to A LOT of people in the past and probably still happens a lot.
True! I normally don't drink but if he was drinking the little head probably outvoted the big head!
My NOLA disaster occurred after a few Hurricanes followed by a few Jack+Cokes in the club! I still got out under $1K, but I was above my $500 "I don't care" limit! NOLA is expensive so I wasn't that bothered, but there was still a little feeling of "shame on me!" :(
Not so much anymore, but it fits nicely.
No ID? Do you at least write your name on the waistband of your tighty-whities? If not, how will they identify you if something bad happens?
Sorry, couldn't resist! ;)
