Why I respect prostitution

Friday, November 6, 2015 7:14 PM
1. They get paid for something too many do for a benefit anyway. I know women who will sleep with guys who buy them dinner, at least the hooker is honest. 2. Both people get what they want, him a woman for sex, her money. No pretending he's interested. 3. No pretending to care. He doesn't have to say "I'll call you". He doesn't have to wine and dine 4. Men get the woman they want. If they want sex for free they often go to a bar and hope she wants it. He might be desperate and take an ugly skank home. With prostitution he chooses the type, maybe even the specific one. The above applies to women seeking other women or gigolos.

Thanks for the inclusion ;) FWIW, I agree. I have had my healthy share of provider sessions, and they were all very good. We each got exactly what we wanted and expected. I had only interned to do it once, to say that I did it and to remove it from my bucket list of things that i wanted to try at least once. But I enjoyed it enough to continue dabbling in it every once in a while.

Lopaw, I realized after I wrote it that it's not just male customer/female worker but every kind of combination. I actually did know an escort who was lesbian and only had female customers. Others aren't gay or even bi but will play with women. I really respect people who do extras/prostitute more than I do people (especially women)who sleep with someone then wonder why they didn't call.

The way I look at is this. Even in the 21st Century, most women are not actually prepared to support themselves by conventional employment. I say this after having gone to college with lots of women, but then afterwards wondering where they have all gone. So most of the time women will either want to be married, or supported in some other way. Prostitution is it. I don't look at it as paying for sex. I look at it as paying for the girl to be available and dolled up and waiting for me. If she wasn't getting paid, she would have to be employed in some other way. Worst of all would be to lose her to FIRE ( Finance, Insurance, Real Estate ). So I'd rather pay her to be waiting in high heels and makeup, instead of having her lost to something completely parasitical like FIRE, where she would be getting mind fucked every hour of every day. Also, being able to be intimate with strangers is a special gift, a calling some people have. So I see prostitution as a continuation of the religious prostitution of the ancient world. It counter acts the neuroticism prevalent in our culture. Anyone who has ever tried to have a relationship with a girl from a well off white family knows what neuroticism is. SJG

I respect prostitution because it's cash only.

Nina, I was never conservative in things like this (I don't disapprove of gay marriage either, which some thought I was). I'm Libertarian, not conservative in a Republican way. In fact I once mentioned to an escort (the one who was banned but kept coming back)that to me an escort is smarter than a girl who sleeps with a guy who she thinks will call and never does.

san_jose_guy, it's not that women don't want to support themselves but rather that employers don't often give women the choice. Many end up quitting the workforce because of that. Others quit because of pressure.

"most women are not actually prepared to support themselves by conventional employment. " You've said many stupid things on this board, but this one is one of your most idiotic.

No Nemesisk, I probably wouldn't. It's just not my thing. Then again if I was desperate you never know because desperation often means things you wouldn't normally do.

former_stripper, I did not take the time needed to fully explain my observation. I do not hold it against women that they do not prepare to support themselves via conventional employment. I don't hold me to this standard either. No, I am not a conservative and I am certainly not a libertarian either. Rather, I think both women and men are getting screwed over. Both have lost so very much. So I see it as quite reasonable that women would be happy accept prostitution money when it is being offered to them. They are just giving guys what they want anyway. Guys offer them money. So the girls are not wrong for accepting. They are just trying to get by in this world. Also, things have changed so probably they will not have the chance to be married, not to someone who could support them. So building up a nest egg while they are young, is quite reasonable. I never look at prostitution money as paying them to do anything they would not otherwise be perfectly happy to do anyway. It is just a show of respect for their needs and concerns. SJG

I look at prostitution on many wavelengths but one of them is the women are offering something the men want, why not take advantage? In that respect both get what they want. In dating, often one person (usually women but sometimes men)go "why didn't he call". Now if both agree that's what they want they aren't hurting each other. I find the early wild west prostitution rather interesting because back then many women did it so they didn't have to get married or did it until marriage. Many of them found husbands who started out as customers. These prostitutes were actually feminists (though not many would call themselves that) because they were charging for something they'd have to give free, though if you get technically if they married they were giving sex in turn for support. Maybe Lopaw can talk about her experiences with this from a female customer. Does it change the dynamic if the customer is female? After all, traditionally women were supported by men, not women even if they were gay (and many married women years ago were gay, one of my neighbors from childhood left her husband for a woman).

I respect all types of sex workers, coal miners and astronauts. There are lots of jobs that pay well that I am too chickenshit or lack the stamina or self-discipline to do. Ain no shame if you're ahead of the game.

@ former_stripper My experiences with prostitutes has so far been very interesting. Every provider that I have met up with has been very professional about her job but I sense that i get to see a side of them that most men do not (same with strippers). They exude a sense of empowerment, but also realize that they are fulfilling a need for many lonely and disenfranchised people so they are great listeners and the more observant ones can really key in a clients needs and concerns. None of them has had any problem taking my money, though since I am female and come highly reviewed I have never had a provider ever touch the envelope that her payment is in during any of our sessions to check on it or count it. I have been told by both strippers & escorts that having a female customer that knows the game and is a good customer is a wonderful change of pace from the usual clientele. I gotta write a book someday :)

That sounds fascinating Lopaw and I bet it would be a great book. I would guess that being an escort they would be more open to people they wouldn't date due to money but it seems to me a female customer would be better on many levels, including the fact that it's not as easy to get diseases (I read this somewhere)and of course no chance of pregnancy.
