On a side note, I have noticed porn stars on strip clubs ads and websites. Not impossible some strip clubs would use models and actresses photos w\o their consent.
Shailynn is correct. They may have signed away their right to choose what kinds of legal businesses use their images when they signed their model releases. That's presuming the club obtained the photos from a legitimate source and didn't just copy and paste.
Wonder whst the photos look like, I would assume the women are wearing lingerie and look like strippers, did they think the photos were going to be used in "womens journal" or "country living" maybe for a billboard for Khols?
People who want to take pictures need to get a release signed up front. They also need to see if they have to comply with that federal records keeping act.
Many modeling licenses would not cover display on a strip club web site. Also the club misrepresented the girls as strippers which is libel regardless of any license or release they signed. They have a good case and are gonna make some money from this.
None of us knows shit about the facts of the case. Filing a lawsuit and getting it in the news doesn't make a good case and doesn't make anybody money.

last commentApparently they really aren't strippers. If the allegations of the lawsuit are true, these ladies are about to make a bunch of money.

I guess it would depend on what type of contract they signed and what wording was used in it about usage of the photos.

I think that it is pretty common for clubs to use professional models on their web sites. I rarely recognize any of them as dancers at the club.

I'd be pissed if I were a model and they used my image to promote a strip club without my consent. I hope they get a nice settlement.
