The difference between dancers and escorts

There's no doubt that, across the sex industry, strippers are as a group the least business-focused, most irresponsible and impulsive and likely to choose to party while at work with stripper friends of broke customers (other than street prostitutes, I suppose, but I have no experience with that group). That's just the strip club lifestyle. And when it comes to customers and management, again other than street prostitutes and trafficked AMP girls I suppose, no one in the sex industry has a worse working environment than strippers. And that's part of the reason that, as far as migration in the sex industry, it's a one-way trip -- strippers become escorts or dominatrixes or massage girls, but it's relatively far more rare to see migration in the other direction. Someone who is in the sex industry and who has the basic level of drive, responsibility, and smarts to run their own business, would rather do anything other than stripping.

Obviously, there's lots of exceptions. There are lots of strippers who favor older guys, just as many mid- and high-end escorts specify "older than 30" or even "older than 40" customers.

Of course, it's this very impulsiveness and lack of responsibility that leads to such amazing OTC stories with strippers. The equivalent of OTC with an escort or bodyrub girl is far more rare -- those girls are not going out drinking with you off the clock, they're not agreeing to have sex and then letting you do anal without upcharging you, they're not doing a whole bunch of things strippers do. You can separate the stripper behavior you like from the stripper behavior you don't like -- the girls who feature in many of our OTC stripper stories are impulsive and make poor choices, which is why we end up with those awesome stories, but that's also why they behave the way they do in the club, and why they're strippers and not escorts (even though many are hot enough to be upper-mid-range escorts) in the first place.

Not all dancers are that bad...as I mentioned in other threads, my ATF will not hustle the young guys at all, for the reasons TiredTraveller mentioned. She zeros in on only the old farts. I've seen her with guys that make Shadowcat look young. In fact, I bet I'm the youngest regular she has, and I'm over 50.

Her ex-lover/dancer though...I was probably her OLDEST regular! LOL She was a hot dancer with lots of sexual skills and always was with the young guys, and as a result she never made that much money dancing. OTOH, she was available for OTC with absolutely anyone for a price, unlike my ATF.

Point being, different dancers have different motivations, so the ones who hang with the 20 something losers and ignoring the senior set might be making bank OTC.

As an older guy whenever I see a stripper sitting with a bunch of youngsters I simply ignore her. They seem satisfied with a few dollars from the stage dances and then go sit with the young guys and I see no need to finance that.

I generally have very little problem getting the young uns to play with me. Flash some cash the next time you want to pry one away from her young friends. Not just a few dollar stage tip, but make clear to her that you've got hundreds to spend if she's good. I bet most will come play with you under those circumstances.

funnily enough there are more white johns than blacks so those stereotypes are terribly misconstrued (I know @tiredtraveller you didn't create them). So I still don't understand the racism from a whore of all things.

I agree with js69. Usually(not always)showing enough cash gets any strippers attention for whatever reason they avoid you.

TiredTraveler and Subraman, I think both of you guys have really bad attitudes, and so I do hope that strip club dancers stay away from you.

My own experience is that most strippers are flexible and open. They like guys wanting to pay, and they like potential boyfriends. They like old guys and they like young guys. It just comes down to what your attitude is. The girls are flexible and they try to see the person underneath the social position.

As far as AMP girls, many of them are interested in outside meetings, as they are more relaxed, and again, the girl wants regulars and civilian relationships. Many of them will say, "How about next time we go someplace else?"

For many of them what is most important to them is that they own their own home. This not easy to do with wage income in the Bay Area either. So for them it is a point of pride. Many of them use this to offer outside home sessions. They ones that do this, I have found, are ones with both brains and beauty. And when they do the inside session with you, they let you see that they are indeed one you would want to be doing longer outside sessions with.

I actually don't really have trouble getting girls to come over to me either, young or not. It's a constant source of gnashing of teeth by customers, but as a general rule, doesn't seem to happen to me, It does sometimes happen that there's ONE particular stripper in the club, and she's otherwise engaged -- by a regular, by some group of guys partying, by some guy at the bar who doesn't seem to be buying a single dance, by her stripper friends at a corner table looking at their phones. But that doesn't make a trend -- by and large, the girls all come over to me. Or as one girl told me recently, when she noted that every time she walked away from me for just a moment, another girl ran over to hustle me: "you're a white guy who is past his 20s -- everyone in the club wants you for a customer" (BTW -- "past his 20s", she was being nice LOL. Yes, I tipped her for that)

Some clubs are known for having young inexperienced dancers. If I go into one of those clubs for the first time I see that happen a lot. The young girls flocking around the young guys. But after I go in a few times and they know I spend money on them then they start flocking around me.

Backpage has been a 50/50 proposition for me. Some really fun, attractive girls have shown me a great time. Others have taken my money and jumped into "get-away" cars that had pulled in front of my place when I was being distracted. My advice: Show them the cash up front but leave it on the nightstand until you're done. Never let her undress you unless she's undressing as well. If she has to leave the room to take a call from her dying mother,or from anybody else.... don't let her out of your sight if she has the $. And finally, If she shows up at your door not looking anything like the babe from the ad, slam the door in her face and hit the deadbolt.
