Have ever perused the Back Page adds for escort services. Many of the best looking (best pictures anyway as I have no first hand experience with Back Page) girls in their 20's and 30's virtually all say they want middle age white guys. It may be for several reasons, they: more likely to have money, want a GFE which is less sex for more money, less likely to beat them up, and more likely to pop only once.
Young new strippers seem to like to hang around young losers that come to the club looking for a freeby or a girl to take home for the night. More experienced girls make a beeline for the better dressed old farts because they are more likely to have money in their pockets.
I have been club touring and have left clubs that have had many young pretty girls that are all hanging around a table full of 'boys' that barely have enough money between them to buy a couple of beers for themselves much less the dancers. But these girls would go on stage, dance, older guys would come tip them at the rail (not one of the boys would come tip), the girls would ignore the older guys and go sit back with the boys. I never saw on of them buy a drink, tip or get a private dance from any of the dancers. Hence the phrase "young and dumb". What is your experience.
There's no doubt that, across the sex industry, strippers are as a group the least business-focused, most irresponsible and impulsive and likely to choose to party while at work with stripper friends of broke customers (other than street prostitutes, I suppose, but I have no experience with that group). That's just the strip club lifestyle. And when it comes to customers and management, again other than street prostitutes and trafficked AMP girls I suppose, no one in the sex industry has a worse working environment than strippers. And that's part of the reason that, as far as migration in the sex industry, it's a one-way trip -- strippers become escorts or dominatrixes or massage girls, but it's relatively far more rare to see migration in the other direction. Someone who is in the sex industry and who has the basic level of drive, responsibility, and smarts to run their own business, would rather do anything other than stripping.
Obviously, there's lots of exceptions. There are lots of strippers who favor older guys, just as many mid- and high-end escorts specify "older than 30" or even "older than 40" customers.
Of course, it's this very impulsiveness and lack of responsibility that leads to such amazing OTC stories with strippers. The equivalent of OTC with an escort or bodyrub girl is far more rare -- those girls are not going out drinking with you off the clock, they're not agreeing to have sex and then letting you do anal without upcharging you, they're not doing a whole bunch of things strippers do. You can separate the stripper behavior you like from the stripper behavior you don't like -- the girls who feature in many of our OTC stripper stories are impulsive and make poor choices, which is why we end up with those awesome stories, but that's also why they behave the way they do in the club, and why they're strippers and not escorts (even though many are hot enough to be upper-mid-range escorts) in the first place.
