I'm pretty confident it's intended to be tongue in cheek! After all, I suspect that Barry Wilmore has never had to deal with alien shape shifters nor does gravity magically work on Eileen Collins!

On the other hand, Eugene Cernan may have lamented the origin of prog rock! He looks like a guy that would find Rush non-brilliant! :)
