In 1961 I was 16 years old and was at a Howard Johnson's with a date after going "to the hop" ( thank you, Buddy Holly). We were 1/2 way between Providence & Boston and at that time the Celtivcs played a portion of their schedule in Providence. The Celtics bus stopped outside and the team came in for a meal. I met Cousy, Russell, Haviliceck, KC Jones & Red Aurbach. A different scene in a time long, long ago.
