Southgate police were called to Subi’s Place Strip Club, 12916 North Line, early Wednesday morning after a patron got in a fight with a bouncer.

According to a WJBK-TV report when officers arrived they were told that the man was an off-duty police officer from Highland Park. The officer allegedly attacked a bouncer and attempted to pull his gun during the fight.

According to the report, the officer and his girlfriend had already visited the club earlier in the night and had gotten into an argument with the valet during his earlier trip to the club.

Video of the incident has been turned over to the Southgate police

I believe it.

A couple of the bouncers at Subi's think they are really something (in their own minds).

I've had my own bad experiences with the bouncers there.
Because of them, I'll never go back to that establishment:

It sounds like the cop was a drunken customer and was the aggressor, not the bouncers. Here's a Fox News report:

I have been to this club before. It had a lowkey vibe to it. Surprised this happened there.
