OT: Texas Holdem

Poker has became a huge part of my life. I would say a #2 to the hobby. It has inriched my life with hard lesson learned with hard losses and has provide me with extra funds to enjoy the hobby more than i would be if it was not for poker.

Been doing a shit load of play online and local casino in Cherokee NC at Harris.....soon will be trying my hand at live tournaments.

What other things do you people enjoy as a #2 ?

I used to play a lot of online poker during the boom.

I lack the patience for in person tournaments, but love cash tables in vegas. The rakes are brutal compared to online, but the right whale can pay for a trip in an hour or two.

Live is more fun, but I miss making steady money playing four tables basically on autopilot while watching TV or chatting with friends online. I cleared 8,000 one year in college doing that.

There's also something to be said for not having to drive, being able to play any time.
