  I used to play a lot of online poker during the boom. I lack the patience for in person tournaments, but love cash tables in vegas. The rakes are brutal compared to online, but the right whale can pay for a trip in an hour or two.

  Live is more fun, but I miss making steady money playing four tables basically on autopilot while watching TV or chatting with friends online. I cleared 8,000 one year in college doing that. There's also something to be said for not having to drive, being able to play any time.
