2:15 PM PT -- The NFL Network has fired Sapp. He'd been with the network since 2008.
12:55 PM PT -- New details in the Warren Sapp arrest ...
Cops say two women told police they were at the hotel "as escorts" and went to Sapp's room, where an argument broke out over money.
The women claim the argument turned physical and spilled out into the hallway.
Cops say the women had injuries consistent with a struggle.
Officials say when cops questioned Sapp,"he was questioned and admitted involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting the females."
Both women involved in the incident received citations from police -- one for prostitution, the other for a violation of the City’s escort permit requirements. Both women were released.
12:49 PM PT -- Sapp has been SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY from the NFL Network without pay pending the outcome of the investigation ... so says NFL Network spokesman Alex Riethmiller.
12:47 PM PT -- Phoenix Police Chief Joseph Yahner says there are TWO female victims ... who both allegedly suffered minor injuries.
Yahner says the women contacted police officers to report the assault.
12:21 PM PT -- The NFL Network has removed Sapp's bio from the official "On-Air Talent" section of the website.
No word if Sapp has been fired from the Network yet ... but as one source puts it, "It's not looking good."

I would hear from several dancers he was a regular. And if they were telling the truth, he was cheap jerk. Always looking for free dances and free OTC hook ups.
Protip: Not a good idea to be trying this sort of thing during Super Bowl weekend. LE is trying to bait just such a thing 10 times harder around the Super Bowl than they do anyplace or anytime else. Just go to a club and check on OTC.
I don't feel any sympathy for him. After he nearly killed Chad Clifton on the field in 2002, then was ready to fight Mike Sherman for pointing it out ... he gets whatever punishment he deserves.
As we often say around here – it never really *is* “free” – most of the girls wanting to get w/ pro athletes is probably not for the sex but what they can get from them – hopefully a baby – ching! ching! – or at least $$$; shopping sprees or expensive gifts; exotic vacations; etc.
Pro athletes resort to the “pros” (escorts) probably for the same reason non-athletes do – to get serviced by a pro w/ no strings attached.

Like others said, unless you were a really huge star and smart investor who even after retirement can still provide high-maintenance sugardaddying and/or opportunities to see and be seen for access and contacts, the groupies dry out fast. And even if you just prefer to go to the pros for the "pay to leave" factor, then fer cryin' out loud pay the rate and don't physically shove them out.
...and yes, this kind of "fun" during this sort of event is a risky call if you are in any sort of public-eye line of work, due to the heightened level of LE scrutiny. If in that status, better to skip this activity during this event.
B. Dude, you're a Hall of Famer. Just go to one of the many, many parties and flash your ring. Isn't there still a Playboy Super Bowl party? Wouldn't it be hard not to get laid at a party like that? Go to those. Don't risk this.
