OT: Dine alone without dining alone at this anti-loneliness cafe in Japan (Doug

To spare you the awkwardness of dining alone, the cafe will seat you with a Moomin who will keep you company while you enjoy your meal. Moomins are hippo-like characters that were created by a Finnish illustrator, Tove Jansson. As an homage to the Moomins' roots, the cafe serves Finnish rye in addition to an assortment of pastries

Also a great place to catch up on your Russo-Finnish war reading!

Seems a little juvenile. What's the Japanese thing for animation anyway?

I'm scared to click on strange looking links. Is the food mostly Japanese or Finish? Can't stand Japanese.

I'd be embarrassed to have one of those things at my table. I'll stick to having a book for company, thanks anyway.
