GREENSBORO, N.C. —Police are looking for suspects in connection with an armed robbery and assault reported in the parking lot of a Greensboro strip club early Wednesday.

The incident was reported just before 1 a.m. at The Mint at 3006 E. Market St. The male victim was treated at the scene for non life-threatening injuries.

The victim told Greensboro police that he had just left the strip club and was walking to his vehicle when three suspects approached him and assaulted him. Two of the suspects were armed with guns, police said.

The suspects left in a white sedan after getting property from the victim, police said.

Police have a partial description of the suspects: three black men wearing white T-shirts.

Anyone with information that can help investigators is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.

I can't understand the mentality of thugs that rob you when leaving a club. Chances are you already spent all of your money ITC.

Robbing a guy LEAVING a strip club. Not very bright, they're broke, that's why they're leaving.

Criminals are dumb. Most SC lots have cameras all over, plus the guy spent his cash. Sounds like he had a nice watch though....but armed robbery for a watch?
