KENDALL, Fla. -
A woman is accused of fatally shooting a man at a South Florida strip club.

The shooting happened early Monday morning at The Playhouse Gentlemen's Club in Kendall.

Miami-Dade police said Kimberly Matthews shot Terrence Henderson, who was involved in an argument with her brother.

Police said witnesses detained Matthews until officers arrived.

Henderson was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Matthews was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder.

Don’t know which club that may be – there is a “Playhouse” SC in So. FL but it is in Hollywood, FL just north of Miami in southern Broward county whereas Kendall is in the southern part of Miami-Dade county.

Perhaps the “Playhouse” in Kendall is an old club that got renamed; but they did not give the club’s address and there is no “Playhouse” listed on TUSCL except for the one in Hollywood which is not near Kendall (these cities are in different adjoining counties).

I thought it might be the same club (i.e. The Office Falls) – but them saying Kendall kinda threw me off b/c I don’t think that area is Kendall although Kendall is close by.

IDK – I usually can’t remember dancers from the neck up – if they would have shown a pic of her in her stripper outfit; then I probably would have recognized her.


And man – I know some strippers are bats out of hell – but I didn’t know some of them were packing.

I think that area is "technically" known as part of The Falls. Those sort of boundaries of the unincorporated parts of Dade, well the boundaries really don't exist.

And yes some pack. I bought a pistol for my ATF and took her to the range for her to learn proper use.
