I have been seeing new media reports about spring breakers and their "SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR". While I never went to Florida for break and went home to work to have money to spend. The only thing I see different is that now all their antics are on twitter and the net. I know guy that went down and did not even have a place to stay and spent all their money on beer. Most kept a little discretion about pot to avoid the cops but little has changed besides the broadcasting of the party on the internet. I suppose the girls may be a little more promiscuous but I doubt it. I know three of my friends that went to Florida on spring break when we were in college in the 70's came back, one had the clap and two others had crabs. The really stupid thing that kids are doing is allowing themselves to be photographed and posted; stripping, screwing, getting high, or hammered. That kind of post can follow you into job interviews. Many of the girls looked as if they were strippers in training!
No longer is it "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"
I feel sorry for kids today because if you piss against the side of a building, moon or flash your titties someone is going to video it and post it.
If you have or had children would you let them and even pay for them to go to spring break.
Would it be different if you had boys or girls?
By the time most of these people get to the age where their children's attitudes matter, the current crop of "spring breakers" will be defining how society thinks about such things.
But no, I would never pay for my kids to go on spring break. I reared my kids to have their own fucking jobs, they can pay for it themselves. :)
