Following up where CT left off...
I run into one of my current favs, and she starts telling me about how her car broke down last week and how much it cost to repair it. I'm thinking typical hard luck story, but here's the twist:
Me: I guess we should go do some dances so I can help pay for your car.
Her: Well, actually Steve, you sorta already did.
Me: Oh. (I haven't been keeping track, but I guess it adds up, lol.)
At least you received multiple instances of entertainment along the way, Steve. Mine was in one evening, and most likely due to the fact I spent a little too much!
As I was walking out of a strip club I saw a taxi cab driver (male) and a female dressed in civilian cloths. As I was walking up she gave me a look of wanting help. I walked past and heard her say out loud (I'm sure she wanted me to over hear) something like "I don't have any money right now but when I get off work tonight I can pay you, can't we work something out"
I felt like being the generous PL and walking over to pay her taxi cab fare for her but I did not. The club already rips me off enough with their $10 cover and $7 drinks, they could come out and pay it for her. I was low on cash and not sure if the taxi would accept credit cards, not to mention who knows what the fare would have been. I have seen taxi fares as cheap as $7 and as expensive as $40. Now if I was walking INTO the strip club I maybe would have paid the taxi cab fare for her thinking "maybe I will get better mileage later tonight" lol.
Still pretty pathetic a stripper was having time paying for taxi fare. She probably did have plenty of money she was just a ROB trying to save money for herself.
Sam, I would've expected the cashier gal to dip into her ginormous tip bowl to help out one of her sisters!
Steve, you're only a PL if you're not getting what you want, and are still paying out the wazoo. :)
