LAND O' LAKES -- A Pasco County deputy escaped serious injuries early Thursday morning when his cruiser struck two cows.
According to authorities, the deputy only suffered minor injuries in the 2:24 a.m. crash on State Road 52 just west of Hays Road in Land O' Lakes.
Officials did not go into detail about the crash, only saying the deputy was okay and the cows were dead.
The road was briefly blocked after the crash.
