Anyone peruse TER? I know that's outside the strip club range but it seems to have some pretty decent information. Apparently there's a lot of great information in the VIP section (very thorough reviews of particular girls), but you have to pay to become a VIP member. Anyone know if it's worth it?
I've seen a few girls over the past few months and am thinking of writing two reviews (which would give me VIP membership- much the same as it does here). The rules for writing the reviews seem pretty rigorous, however, and the site indicates that they will check all the details of your views to ensure you're not lying and will reject reviews that look suspicious. Well, WTF? Seems a little Nazi-ish.
I'm hoping that this is just a bit of bluster, and that the reviews go through with no problem.
Ok. I probably used the wrong word. Just overly rigorous. There's a long list of things you have to be sure to include. There are 10 very specific points, and one of them reads like this:
"7.In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.
This does not mean she earns extra points for offering the service(s); just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is performed during your session with her. You may or may not be interested in the “extra†services she offers, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score.
If your review rates a provider higher than her maximum score, the score will be adjusted down to her maximum."
pretty good info if you are looking to buy some pussy and don't want to get burned. reviews can get very specific, so there is no doubt what the girl will and won't do for the money.
I drift in and out of VIP membership, mostly when I'm traveling to a new city and want local intel. The regional discussion boards can be interesting and don't require paid membership to read. Some cities are very active (Phoenix), while other cities have other sites that are more popular (Houston, eccie.net). As to whether you think TER is worth it, it depends on how much hobbying you do, or if you travel much. It's nice to be able to see the top 100 list for most any city, and read the reviews to find what you're looking for.
I've done about a 1/2 dozen reviews on TER. If you've seen the provider and provide details you won't have a problem. Reviews there tend to be longer than here because they are looking for details about your session. What you did, and how good or bad she was at various things.... Reviews have to stand alone more. While a strip club can easily have 100+ reviews a TER provider may only have 5 so each review counts a lot.
I have a few reviews on TER, mostly from my forays into Canada. The main good thing about TER is the shear number of reviews available, and the fact that they will remove retired escorts.
The bad thing about the site is that while they are very picky about whether an escort's rating is worth a 10, or a 9 because she only does BBBJ and DFK, they aren't that good at weeding out the shill reviews, self reviews and negative reviews from competitors. Some escorts are also very good at complaining about reviews and getting the review removed.
My advice is write 2 reviews or get a one time three membership if you really want to find out some information, but you can get just as good information from other web sites, with a lot more information.
