the title is misleading. It is not legal to shoot people without a reason. Apparently if you are considered a thief by stealing property or cash, it is legal in Texas.
It could be open hunting season on dancers too if guns are allowed in strip clubs and a jury believed she didn't deliver what she promised.

Summary is wrong. He was acquitted of murder. Wasn't charged with homicide. Acquittal is correct, prosecutor over-reached and lost.
