I'm guessing I know the answer, at least among the regular posters, but did anybody buy a subscription to TUSCL to get the reviews, etc? Or should I say "Has anybody PAID to read REVIEWS and CONVERSATIONS about STRIPPERS?"
I also started posting before the owner started charging. Almost 100 of my reviews are no gone. my account expires in 2009. makes it worth writing reviews
FONDL: Just make sure you review a club that's still open. You ought to check some of those New Orleans reviews. "I was there about a week before Katrina and......."
Chandler, OK if I borrow that review to use? My membership is expired. No, I've never paid. But I might someday, it's a pretty good deal. But I'm wondering what the credit card charge says on your bill? That's probably why I've never done it.
You can tell when somebody posts a review at the last minute to activate their account rather than pay: "I was at this club once last summer with my buds. There were girls. They were dancing. One of them took my buddy to the VIP. That was awesome!"
I paid for a TUSCL membership before a trip and wanted to make sure I didn't get steered wrong about where to go. Since then my reviews keep me active enough to be a non-paying freeloader. Same with TER on the escort side of the world.
I paid once a few years ago when my account had expireda and I had an emergency need for up-to-date info for a trip. Then I forgot to cancel it for a few months. I felt like such a loser having to pay for tips on where to go to pay for it.
Well, that wasn't prejorative. I've often thought that for as often as I look $40/yr isn't such a bad price to not have to worry about when it expires if you don't write a review. I probably saved $40 alone this year by knowing which dancer to get an LD from at a small club I visited. I probably would have sampled a few more before confirming what one review said.
