A curse? He was 89.
Of course I didn't have a clue about this guy when he was alive. Reading a long piece about 'Mr. Drummond' in today's Calgary Herald I learned that he grew up in Calgary, served in the Canadian Army during WW II, and was one of the founders of Workshop 14 which was the foundation of Calgary's largest professional theatre company.
Seems like the guy had a solid workman-like acting career.
Bless! I think he kept his nose clean.
What you talking about willis?
jester, I was being funny. Or not. I knew he had one foot in the grave.
Thanks for the news. I missed this one. rip Conrad Bain nytimes.com
