  I do it in lieu of buying LDs, which I really don't enjoy anyway and which are over quick. There is no magic formula for how much or how often, but if she is entertaining me then I take care of her.
  
  The things I like the most about this practice is that it gives me ample time to get to know the dancer and to set up other things up. Having said that, I do not do this in places where special services are available ITC. This practice also isn't really popular with the girls who work in large, high hustle clubs, as they are constantly prowling for the big score.

  I will tip them at the table if they have spent a long time with me at my request and I am not getting lappers that day. I don't tip if thay sit down and don't leave when I make it clear I am not interested.
