Those 'in the industry' take regular and ongoing aids testing and have a system for alerting each other if a test shows up positive months later.   I was reading on another board this same question with a different PS. Basically the "10inches" guys (guys who've done PSs) have all said this is the porn industry's worst kept secret.   I looked into hiring a porn star escort. The cost was high (around $1,000) but I figured it would just be a one time thing. Anyways, I never go around to it because you have to jump through hoops just to be able to book an appointment. You have to have references and they have to verify what you do for a living so they know you are not LE.

  There are plenty of escorts who charge in the $300-500 per hour range who could be major porn stars if they wanted to. Among the reasons, don't want the notoriety, don't like anal. Plenty of 8s and 9s who charge less than $300 too. I never see a 'scort unless I think there's a good chance I'd be able to see her regularly if I like her.
