The police raided an "after-hours" club in Detroit.
I've heard about these clubs for years. They seem to provide people with a party or strip club atmosphere. Music, drinking, half or fully naked dancers, sex. Besides what you get in strip clubs, you can gamble and buy drugs openly. These after-hours clubs have low overhead and the owners don't have to worry about licensing or regulations. They seem to get shut down only after months of complaints, and then they are simply opened again in another location.
Has anybody been to an after-hours club?
No I haven't. I have heard stories about After-Hours Sex parties in Strip Clubs where the door had been locked. I don't know if there was any truth to the stories.
