PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A 26-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the neck in or near a gentlemen's club in South Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. at the Onyx strip club along the 2900 block of South Columbus Boulevard.

According to investigators, the victim was shot in the neck and was rushed by police to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he is listed in extremely critical condition.

A spokesman for south detectives says investigators are not sure if the shooting occurred inside or outside the strip club as it was closing for the evening. Witnesses tell police the gunman may have fled in a white Ford Explorer.

Police are currently interviewing employees and potential witnesses.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Been to that club once. Very nasty place.

Will not go back even though I heard my ATF bartender works there now.

Let's hear it for my home boys!! We've been feeling left out here in Philly. Now we got our OWN shooting...

I don't go near that place in the DAYTIME and I go to some real dives.
