After midnight, dancers put on tops and are no longer adult entertainment, but they still charge $20 for a lap dance.... [view link]

yup and it goes downhill from there. It used to be $1 to get some tits rubbed in your face on stage but now there is no contact going on with the stage show. Some dancers dislike these new rules while others love it because it makes it easier to sell lap dances. They feel like they keep their dignity when going up on stage not having to go topless or give contact for $1 tips.

whatever you bad boys do make sure you keep voting for those right wing-nut know-it-alls- do-gooders and sex police on their hypocritical high horses...it's all about 'freedom and liberty' with that crowd until it comes to what you can do with your own body...hanging for dear life onto the nineteenth century and waiting for their 'rapture'...and no, NOT the one in your pants...

Ralph...it's not as simple as that. There has been plenty of time with liberals in charge and we still have groups out to shut down the adult industry. I just wish there was a political party that could win and stood for free economics and free social standards. The two choices we have now are wrong on half their agendas!

The "adult industry" is a fish in a barrel. Add to it that we are talking about stuff "down there", then the puritan ethos sticks its nose in and we end up with a political form that says, "we'll tell you what you can do and how and when you can do it, because you can't be trusted to be like us." Unfortunately, that statement extends waaay beyond "adult" these days.

oh boy, here comes the politics, rolleyes ralphy has over indulged at the kool aid stand, lol the truth of the matter is that i live in a very left leaning city and years ago someone wanted to open a strip club downtown. the leftist mayor and councilmen immediately passed all kinds of legislation to prevent the club from opening. the club still opened, as a bikini bar but they were strangled by the restrictions and constant harrasment from the mayor and eventually closed. there are other examples of basically the same story in other local cities but i don't feel like debating this crap again.

"Reporters visited three clubs on different day..." It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.
